AI Code Detector Runs in your browser

AI CODE DETECTOR GUIDE

Does repeating a code pattern increase an AI detector score?

Not when it is the same configured rule matching more lines: in a tested example, repeating one attribution phrase on a second line kept the score at 34 while the report listed both matched lines. The rule contributes its weight once in that result.

The configured rules run in your browser; submitted code is not uploaded.

One rule, one weight entry

For the current analyzer, each configured rule gathers the line positions where its text pattern matches. The score then adds the weights of matched rules. A repeated occurrence of a single rule can therefore appear on multiple lines without adding that rule's weight again.

One-line test input:

// generated by AI assistant

Two-line test input:

// generated by AI assistant
// generated by AI assistant

Both exact inputs matched “Explicit AI-tool attribution in a comment” at weight 34 and returned a score of 34. The two-line result listed both line 1 and line 2 for that rule.

When can a score still rise?

A different configured rule can add its own weight if it matches too, and the displayed score is capped at the current rule-set maximum. So this example does not mean every repeated pattern is score-neutral; it shows how one specific rule is counted when it matches once or on two lines.

The score and flagged lines are heuristic review signals, not proof of who wrote the code. Read what the score means and how to read flagged lines.
